    Hi Dan,
I just watched your podcast on barbell shrugged and i wanna thank you for your valuable info.
I am an owner and head coach of Crossfit Arka , Romania .
I qualified 2 times to regionals 2013,2014 i ve been doing crossfit for 5 years with a pro tennis background , Grand slam level.
I just had a knee surgery for a torn lateral meniscus and microfracture procedure for my damaged cartilage .
My question is, will i be able to lift heavy again ? and how long do you think it will take.?
I just finished my 6 weeks on crutches.
Do you have some tips and suggestions as an experienced doctor who actually knows crossfit that i can use in my rehab?
Thanks alot for your time, i appreciate it.
    Regards
    Karim

Hey Karim, best case scenario is to find a local clinician you trust that can help you. I’ve definitely had patients in your boat return to squatting and competition, I just think you need the right coach and therapist to do it.
